Our Review: This is a tea that doesn't smell as good as it tastes. The tea bag smells of cardamom, but once you brew it, there isn't much of an aroma wafting from the cup. Don't let that deter you, because this is a beautifully balanced blend of flavours. It's a warming drink with a mildly sweet after-taste. In fact, it's one of the sweeter teas we've tried, but in a good way. The licorice doesn't overpower the mix of ingredients; it's just right. Because of the fennel, this one is perhaps similar to Pukka's Detox, but the lightly spicy kick from the cardamom and ginger in Relax that makes it stand out from the rest of the Pukka range.
Best of all, you definitely feel relaxed, just as the box promises - and marshmallow root is good for relieving inflammation, easing those swollen muscles and promoting general good health. In particular, it's great for reducing congestion, so drink this one when you have a cold or if you're asthmatic.
Best time of year to drink this: All year round, but especially in winter when you're more prone to colds.
Best time of day to drink this: 2-4pm, or evening-time before bed.
