Review: This really is a tea to drink for medicinal reasons, rather than for enjoyment.  The scent is so overpowering, it's like being punched in the face with a eucalyptus tree.  The taste is initially weak.  Then it builds in your throat and kicks you with the natural equivalent of menthol.  All the ingredients have been chosen to promote clear breathing: elecampane, mullein leaf and basil all aid immunity and respiration.  Thyme does this as well, but also acts as an antiseptic against all those nasty germs in cold and flu season.  Ginger and cinnamon help digestion and immunity.  And peppermint, interestingly, is not only used for digestion, but also to cool the body by promoting sweating - great for when you have a fever.

While this blend won't provide pain relief, if you're suffering from a general cold and want to clear those blocked passageways, this is a natural substitute for standard medicinal drinks.  You might also want to drink this instead of gobbling up lozenges.  As ever, you also get Yogi Tea's signature thought for the day on your tea bag.  Ours was, 'Master yourself.'  Alright, then!

Best time of year to drink this: Cold and flu season.

Best time of day to drink this: Any time you feel congested and need a blast of eucalyptus to open up those sinuses.
