Review: Easily one of the loveliest teas we've ever had.  The aroma alone is gorgeous, like chocolate-covered pieces of ginger.  Just lifting the cup to your mouth is a delight, as the scent floats up and fills you.  It's a warm, comforting moment, holding it in your hand, and no matter how long you leave the tea, that smell never fades.

After all that glorious anticipation, the taste doesn't disappoint.  It's like drinking hot chocolate, but not as heavy (particularly as there is no dairy), and with a mild ginger kick.  It's a subtle heat that doesn't overpower, like Christmas spice, but richer.  This is definitely one to have in the afternoon or evening, to avoid turning to sweets or puddings - or to warm you on cold winter evenings.  When people say a nice cup of tea can solve any problem, we think they mean this infusion; it would definitely make you feel like everything will be alright again, in those difficult moments.

It's true that this tea is expensive - but it's worth it.  You're not just getting something to drink; you're paying for a whole experience.  This is also a good one to give as a gift to that special loved one.

Best time of year to drink this: Winter (or any time it gets a bit chilly...or you need a cheerful pick-me-up)

Best time of day to drink this: Afternoons and cold evenings / nights (no caffeine means you can get away with having it before bed, as an alternative to hot chocolate)
