We're not sure what qualifies as 'natural' flavouring over in Colorado, but we've never had a real cherry that tasted like this - we've definitely tasted that sickly flavour in fake cherry sweets and syrups. That said, the cherry flavour dies off almost as soon as it's touched your tongue - not just fades but dies instantly and inexplicably. It's then replaced by the strong taste of chicory root, which is bitter enough to be used as a coffee substitute when had on its own. It's a confusing choice and perhaps the reason you can hardly taste the cherry - the chicory is maybe too strong for any other flavours to come through. We found this one confusing and disappointing - missold, even. If you're looking for a fruity tea, don't bother with this one. If you want chicory, you're better off buying a high-quality chicory powder on its own. It makes a great decaffeinated cappuccino!Best time of year to drink this: Summer
