It smells so grassy and refreshing. When tasting, however, the fennel and liquorice combine to be overpoweringly sweet, while the dandelion root is intensely bitter. The result is a confusion on the tongue, with mint there to cool things down. It isn't terrible, and some may even like it, but for us...we really wish the liquorice weren't there. It's an overused ingredient - not to mention, in large doses it causes hypertension. So this isn't an 'avoid'...but we won't be buying it again.Best time of year to drink this: Any time
