It's verges on soapy, probably due to the chamomile. The flavour is mainly thyme and chamomile, too, which means it's a little sweet; but there are other flavours mixed in there. It's designed for medicinal purposes, and it really does the trick. Tulsi had a bad cough that faded every time she drank this. It tastes better than some of the other throat teas we've tried, too, and it has a unique blend of ingredients that make us think the company really know what they're doing. It's a great night-time infusion to relax you even if you don't have a cold. Highly recommended - a staple, even, to have on stand-by for when you feel run down.Best time of year to drink this: Anytime, but especially when it's cold and there's a higher chance of catching something
