Review: With all those flowers, it’s unsurprising that, when brewed, this smells soapy. The taste was quite strong…and by ‘quite strong’, we mean we found it hard to drink because it was insanely bitter. We only brewed it for a few minutes, as recommended, so that tea is intense. We highly recommend hardly brewing it at all, and then it’s probably quite pleasant. However, it lacked the subtlety we found with some of their other blends; the tea base overpowered all other flavours.

But maybe you like your tea that strong! It’s a hard one to find, though, because it’s not generally sold in stores. Three Tulsi was given it for free, on a visit to Glastonbury, but you can order it online at www.glastonburyincense.com.

Alchemist’s Tea Moroccan Mint – It’s minty https://teastimonials.com/2022/03/13/alchemists-tea-moroccan-mint-its-minty/ https://teastimonials.com/2022/03/13/alchemists-tea-moroccan-mint-its-minty/#respond Sun, 13 Mar 2022 19:33:56 +0000 https://ifteacupscouldtalk.wordpress.com/?p=2337 Alchemist's Tea Moroccan MintBrand: Alchemist’s Tea

Review: It’s hard to go wrong with Moroccan mint. In theory, it should be the same every time, but the strength of the ingredients, not to mention the type of peppermint used, does vary from blend to blend.

This one is as you’d expect – it smells minty, and it tastes pleasant. It’s not too strong, and not over-bitter the way some green teas can be. It’s more mint than green tea. There’s a subtlety to it, and we really enjoyed it. It’s good for the price, as well.

But it’s a hard one to find, because it’s not generally sold in stores. Three Tulsi was given it for free, on a visit to Glastonbury, but you can order it online at www.glastonburyincense.com.
