Review: In the tin, this just smells horrible – cleaning products in the extreme. Once brewed, it’s much less offensive and simply smells of lemongrass. On tasting, however, all we got was green tea. Do not overbrew. Ginger literally flailed her arms on the first sip. The lemon and spices were non-existent. We can’t see the point of buying this when there are other, cheaper versions of the same thing – blends that actually succeed.

Review: This is, quite simply, one of the best teas we have ever tried, and the best green tea we’ve had. It supposedly only includes a blend of green tea and various mint leaves. However, the aroma is like rose petals, even just when you smell it in the bag. It’s sweet and fragrant, like very expensive face cream. Thankfully, the flavour is not too floral, only lightly rosy, and almost chocolatey – perhaps chocolate mint is one of the varieties included here. It’s nothing like your standard Moroccan mint. There is zero bitterness. It has a smooth, creamy texture and it’s simply delicious. We could drink it all day, all year round – though it’s probably best had in the first half of the day, due to the caffeine content. Even just the experience of it – sitting with the cup, smelling it, is like being in a spa with aromatherapy. This is hands down a must-have tea for all, and a strong contender for our favourite tea of all time.

Review: This is gorgeous! The actual green tea flavour is mild, perfectly balanced with the spearmint, which is fresh and slightly sweet. No green tea bitterness at all. It’s soothing and cleansing, wakeful and lively, and we could drink it every day. A must-have.

Review: Another one from the fairytale collection. It has a very pleasant aroma, like being in the woods, with a fruity tartness. We could immediately imagine wild raspberry bushes. The flavour is like a mellowed green tea. It’s nice and fresh, and not bitter at all. However, for all that raspberry in the ingredients list, we couldn’t taste it. It’s not the fruitiest of teas, nor the most exciting. It’s just a nice green tea, for people who usually find green tea a bit too strong.

Review: Note that there is no peach in this peach infusion…so you know there’s a lot of flavouring in there. The result is something disgusting. It smells overwhelmingly of fake peach, and it tastes similar. It doesn’t work with the bitter green tea at all. We just don’t know how anyone would enjoy this and we couldn’t finish the cup. It was an instant AVOID.

Review: So…mixed feelings about this one. It smells like green tea with a hint of orange – natural, not artificial, despite it having some flavouring. It’s pleasant, like a milder green tea, due to the edge of orange. It’s not too bitter, but also not too lemony, despite the lemongrass. There’s maybe a hint of jasmine in there, as well. We wouldn’t go out of our way to buy it, because we felt it was just okay and not really special enough to order online. But it was a lovely little combination of flavours that we’re sure someone will really like.

Review: This smells really lemony! Just like sherbet. It tastes like it too – it’s that fake lemon flavour you always get from lemongrass…and absolutely nothing else. Beetroot? Where!? We dare anyone to tell us they can identify that when drinking this blend. It’s just cleaning product. It’s a fancy ingredients list in fancy packaging with a completely un-fancy taste for a high price tag. It’s an AVOID.

Review: If you’ve been following us for a while, you’ll know we’re not a fan of peach in tea. We haven’t come across a workable peach blend, and this didn’t change our minds. It smells like yucky fake peach, and it tasted bitter and stringent with artificial disgustingness. It’s very hard to describe because we took several sips and could not figure out what we were tasting. One of us declared in horror, ‘What was that meant to be!?‘ Someone tried to be too creative. They took your basic jasmine green tea recipe, and thought, ‘How can we ruin it with flavours no one ever thought should mix with this?’ It’s an automatic AVOID.

Review: We loved this. Despite the name, there isn’t much elderflower or pear in it, and that keeps it from becoming sickly. The flavour is subtle. The floral and carob combination undercuts the white tea, keeping it from getting bitter, while the tea keeps the other ingredients from being too sweet. It’s strikes just the right balance – gorgeous, light, delicate and refreshing. It was an instant favourite that we can’t recommend enough.

Review: This is an interesting one. It has a much stronger aroma than some other mango blends we’ve come across, but the flavour is milder. It contains real fruit pieces, not candied like other offerings on the market, and these are nicely balanced with the other ingredients. The sweetness is subtle, probably offset by the green tea – but it also keeps that tea from getting too bitter. We really like it and think it would be good to have iced on a hot summer afternoon. It’s also nice to have after a meal, in lieu of dessert.
